Former Pink Floyd band member Roger Waters to Wrigley Field next summer, "the Wall" can get this version.The Chicago Tribune reported Live Nation may make an official announcement next Tuesday. Pink Floyd first released "the Wall" back in 1979.
During the last few years, Wrigley has hosted a series of concerts. Last July, Paul McCartney was there two nights.
Roger Waters his highly successful to The Wall tour back stateside next year's plan. The former Pink Floyd frontman, cities and places they remember the first time is planning to kill.He says in an interview for the new issue of Rolling Stone, "There are quite a few markets we didn't cover last time, like Austin. But we want to base the tour around Saturday nights in baseball stadiums. As we speak, I'm at my office working on an outdoor version of the show."
The Wall show to have been only performed indoors.H says, "We're going to be projecting over 140 yards. So now it's going to be 1,500 pixels wide. We've done light tests and Fenway Park and Wrigley Field and Yankee Stadium just to see what the ambient light is like. And it's fine. It works. We've taken part of the Wall and the projectors into those three places."
